Twoolies The Twoolies are unique handmade wool animals designed by architect Sindy Posso and Mayan artist Julio Mendez combining modern and trendy concepts with ancestral native designs. Each one is entirely and carefully handmade by skillful Tzotzil weavers using 100% natural wool knitted in manual looms. The Toztzil is an ethnic subgroup of the Maya that live in the highlands of South Mexico. The word “tzotz” means “wool” in their language.
